Developing a Growth Mindset

Hello! I am Mr. Walters. 

I am the bald guy in the photo. I began my teaching career in 2017 as a Title 1 mathematics teacher for K-4. I started at ZR in 2019. I earned my bachelor of education, master of education and technology, and master of business administration from Western Governors University. 

I have 3 kids and an amazing wife. I also have two great dogs named Luna and Buster. My cat is kind of mean and doesn't care for me much -  her name is Tesla. (She is named after the Nikola, not the car.) 

In my free time, I love building and launching rockets with the National Association of Rockets, metal detecting, collecting sports cards, and coaching youth football. 

I am very excited to be teaching stem and mathematics this year.
